Civil Network for a Peaceful Korea (CNPK) is seeking qualified interns. We are looking for professional, experienced volunteer to help us announce our report on Korean NGO perspectives of Korean Peninsula issues in English to the international community. Interns are involved in many facets of CNPK's work including: researching North Korean issues for articles and fact sheets; assist the international coordinator of CNPK to update Korean NGO’s perspective on the issues of Korean peninsula and disarmament movement issues; monitoring activity in the foreign press; and supporting the coordinators in a variety of administrative tasks. Interns are encouraged to engage in substantive discussions with coordinators in order to gain a deeper understanding of the Korean peace movement field. Hours and Compensation: Interns can arrange their work time flexibly with other coordinators. Part-time positions are also available but interns are expected to work more than 6 months in CNPK. Interns are given a daily stipend for lunch and are reimbursed for commuting expenses. Applicants have to pay their travel expanses to Korea.
