Welcome! The 1st ‘Peace Talk’ at PN (Peace Network) registration opens now!
Peace Network is the NGO for seeking the peaceful Korea. We have made every effort to share opinions freely with the civilians and students about peace issues in Northeast Asia and the Korean Peninsula. In the next month, we start the 1st PEACE TALK!
Peace Talk is the renewal of the EPS (English Peace Study) that we proudly gathered. Peace Talk is the small group to discuss together about the important peace issues of international society and Northeast Asia affairs, as well as“Korea Problems”.
The participants can review the peace issues of the Korean Peninsula in Northeast Asia and feel the present atmosphere of the peace movement. Also, you can get in touch with people from a variety of fields in Korea and abroad. Welcome anyone interested in “peace”. We are going to talk in English for the international participation.
November 3, Saturday, the very first meeting will be hosted by Cheong, Wooksik (representative of the PN) who just got back from a sabbatical year in Washington D.C.. The first theme would be “The North Korea Nuclear Issue & Six Party Talks”. Let’s Talk!

3. Program: English lectures and discussions about the peace issues of Northeast Asian affairs
November 3 – PN representative. Cheong, Wooksik, “The North Korea Nuclear Issue & Six Party Talks”
November 10 – Ph.D. Suh, Bo-Hyuk, “How to approach the North Korean Human Rights Issue?”
4. Participants: PN members, civilian, International students and foreigners in Korea, anyone interested in peace issues
5. Number of participants: 15 members in order of registration
6. Time: November 3, 2007 ~ January 26, 2008 (12 weeks) [every Saturday A.M.10- P.M.12]
7. Place: Peace Network Office (Metro Line 3 “Gyeongbokgung Station” Gate 1) ☞[view map]
8. The registration is due by Wednesday, October 31, 2007.
